ATTLEBORO, MA – Two former Shamrocks, Matt Strzepka '88 and Nicholas Roque ’07, returned to campus to speak to students about their career journeys. While Feehan has offered the 'Rock Talks Speaker Series for a number of years, this part of our Career Connection Rock Talks, specifically designed to help students learn from Feehan alums about the pathways and work realities of certain professions.
Mr. Matt Strzepka '88 is the Director of Global Equity Trading at Wellington Management in Boston. At Feehan, Matt played football and ran spring and winter track. He then went to Bridgewater State where he earned a Bachelor's degree in business finance. Matt oversees hundreds of billions of dollars of trades as well as commodities, is responsible for recruiting best-in-class talent and developing both expert trading and leadership skills across the team.
Mr. Nicholas Roque ’07 is a senior consultant in asset management at Deloitte Consulting in Boston. At Feehan, Nicholas served as a peer ministry officer and played football, baseball, and ran winter and spring track. He then went to Manhattan College where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics and Bryant University where he earned his MBA. Nicholas has worked in various areas of financial services in CT, NY, and MA.
Mr. Strezepka and Mr. Roque reflected on their time at Feehan, shared their career stories, and answered student questions.
