Principal's Welcome

 

Dr. George Milot has been appointed as the 9th Principal at Bishop Feehan High School, in Attleboro, MA. Dr. Milot’s appointment was approved by Bishop George W. Coleman and announced by Diocesan Superintendent of Schools Dr. Michael Griffin at a gathering of faculty and staff in the Bishop Feehan chapel on Tuesday, June 5th

Well known throughout the Diocese, Dr. Milot served as Principal of Bishop Feehan from 1994-2001, and as Diocesan Superintendent of Schools from 2001-2011. Mr. Milot has committed to serve as Principal for a one-year period. Bishop Feehan President Chris Servant said “Dr. Milot’s extensive knowledge of the school, his deep commitment to Catholic education and his broad experience as an educator will provide Bishop Feehan with timely leadership and will allow the school the flexibility to undertake an in-depth search over the course of the next school year to fill the Principal position for the long term.
 
Dr. Milot and his wife Sue are Taunton natives. Dr. Milot is a graduate of Coyle High School in Taunton, Stonehill College in North Easton and holds several advanced degrees including a PhD in Educational leadership from Seton Hall University.
Presently, Dr. Milot is working as a consultant for the University of Notre Dame ACE program (Alliance for Catholic Education).
